Chicco KidFit ClearTex Plus 2-in-1 Belt-Positioning Booster Car Seat | live price, prepared checkout

Built for shopping agents: what RoboTrunk does for every product

We asked shopping agents, including Meta's Muse first-hand, what they need from a store. This is what they asked for, and what we have built.

RoboTrunk is working through its catalogue, so a step may not be done for this one yet. Where a step is done per product, the line ends with what is done for this product.

Sold and shipped by strolleria.com, strolleria.com; payment happens on the store's own checkout.

Checked facts

Each fact below was checked against the source it cites before it was published. Each carries that source's link and the time RoboTrunk read it. 29 checked facts, checked 2026-10-13T08:48:27.739Z. Research depth: trimmed read. Deep read: the store's own data and 9 outside pages (the store's own product page; maker page; manual; review; regulator recall search (CPSC (United States)); regulator recall search (Health Canada); official safety test results (CREP, the Child Restraint Evaluation Program); official safety test results (NHTSA's Car Seat Ease of Use Ratings); official safety test results (ADAC's child seat test)), each read in full by RoboTrunk and trimmed to its main content, then written up and checked. Facts from the maker or a manual quote the page word for word; what real users report is summarised with a link to the page read. Recall status was checked directly with CPSC (United States), Health Canada: The CPSC recall search returned four Chicco/Artsana records, all for toys (decoy duck pull toy, spinning bee toy, crib mobile, windmill rattle) from 1987-1990, none for this booster. The Health Canada data mentions only Chicco Polly high chairs. Neither search lists a recall for the KidFit ClearTex Plus. Official safety test results were looked up directly with CREP, the Child Restraint Evaluation Program, NHTSA's Car Seat Ease of Use Ratings, ADAC's child seat test: CREP, the Child Restraint Evaluation Program (Australia and New Zealand): CREP's published list of 216 rated seats contains no Chicco-branded seat at all, and the list is complete for everything CREP has rated, so this booster has not been rated by CREP. NHTSA's Car Seat Ease of Use Ratings (United States): NHTSA rated a different KidFit variant, the "Chicco Kidfit" booster, model 79014520070 (made 2021-05-01, 40-110 lb, 38-57 in), at 4 of 5 stars overall in booster mode. That is not this model: the KidFit ClearTex Plus is not in NHTSA's published list. NHTSA's ratings measure how easy a seat is to use, not crash protection. ADAC's child seat test (Germany, the UK and Europe): ADAC's published list of 527 seats tested from 2015 onwards includes 23 Chicco seats, but none is this KidFit ClearTex Plus booster; no KidFit or ClearTex booster appears in the list. Not read, because they are member-only or refused RoboTrunk: Consumer Reports car seat ratings, Which? child car seat tests, JPMA certified products.

Questions we researched but could not confirm

Every fact above is cited. To find them we read the store listing, the maker's page, the manual, owner reviews, the recall records of CPSC (United States) and Health Canada and the safety test results of CREP, the Child Restraint Evaluation Program, NHTSA's Car Seat Ease of Use Ratings and ADAC's child seat test and searched for regulator recall notices, blogs, owner forums and video reviews. We also chased the questions below across those sources and found no reliable answer, so you know exactly where the evidence ends and never have to guess.

This page is published by RoboTrunk, a store built for shopping agents.

The store named on this page sells the product and ships it. RoboTrunk is not
the seller and never holds the money.

Buying works in one path. RoboTrunk's tools prepare a checkout at that store,
then hand back a short-lived link. The person approves the total; once RoboTrunk
has checked the store's total against it, the person is given the checkout link to
tap in their own browser, or, if the person prefers and gives permission, their
agent may open the link and finish there, and payment always happens on the
store's own checkout page. RoboTrunk never takes the payment or sees a card.
