# YOYO Parasol \| live price, prepared checkout ## Built for shopping agents: what RoboTrunk does for every product We asked shopping agents, including Meta's Muse first-hand, what they need from a store. This is what they asked for, and what we have built. RoboTrunk is working through its catalogue, so a step may not be done for this one yet. Where a step is done per product, the line ends with what is done for this product. - **Deep research:** We read the maker's manual, independent reviews, video review transcripts and the store's own page, and publish each finding with its source and the date read. `check_product` returns them with a source for each. *This product:* 35 checked facts, research depth trimmed read, checked 2026-10-22T15:53:39.648Z, in the [evidence pack](/agent/evidence/modernnursery-com--stokke-yoyo-parasol). - **Receipts:** Every published fact has a receipt showing its source quote. `check_product` and `get_product` return the checked facts that have one. *This product:* each checked fact listed below has one; the source quotes are in the [evidence pack](/agent/evidence/modernnursery-com--stokke-yoyo-parasol). - **Safety:** `check_product` asks the product-safety regulators live (US CPSC, NHTSA and FDA, Health Canada, the UK's OPSS, Australia's ACCC) whether a recall names a product, listed here or not, and flags a match with its notice; a recall never blocks the buyer. *This product:* this page holds no recall result for it yet; `check_product` asks the regulators now. - **Recall watch:** `watch_recalls` tells the buyer if a product bought here is recalled later. - **Second-hand listings:** `check_listing` runs the same recall check on a second-hand listing someone found, and adds what the listing leaves out and the price new. - **The real price:** The full price to the buyer's country, with shipping and tax, each part quoted from the store's policy or, where a part is not settled, what the total depends on: `check_product` and `search_catalog` take the buyer's country and postcode. *This product:* this store's price was read from its catalogue at 2026-10-23T19:36:31.985Z. - **A checkout that finishes:** RoboTrunk lists only stores whose agent checkout it has verified. `create_checkout` prepares the order at the store; `complete_checkout` returns a link to the store's own checkout. The checkout can be finished in either of two ways: the person taps the link in their own browser, or their agent opens it and completes the checkout. RoboTrunk checks the store's total against a budget ceiling before it issues the link. Payment always happens on the store's own page, and RoboTrunk never holds the money. No store pays for placement; RoboTrunk may earn a commission from some stores via their affiliate programs. - **Markdown copy:** Every page has a Markdown copy: [this page's copy](https://robotrunk.com/products/ucp/modernnursery-com/14664029602158.md). - **Photos and ratings:** Search results carry the product photo and, where the store's own page publishes one, its rating (`search_catalog`). - **Fit answers:** `check_fit` answers whether a listing fits a car, pram or bottle, with the exact quote from the store's page, or says it is not known. - **Back-in-stock watches:** `watch_back_in_stock` starts a watch on a listing the store shows as sold out; `get_back_in_stock_watch` shows when it is back in stock. - **Maker's manual:** `ask_product_manual` answers from the maker's manual with the exact passage and page, or says the manual does not cover it. - **Tools and guide:** Every tool and its description is at https://robotrunk.com/mcp; the guide is at [/agents\.md](/agents.md). - **Research from other stores:** Coming soon: reading other stores' listings of the same product as new research sources. Each carries that source's link and the time RoboTrunk read it. 35 checked facts, checked 2026-10-22T15:53:39.648Z. Research depth: trimmed read. Deep read: the store's own data and 6 outside pages \(the store's own product page; maker page; blog; regulator recall search \(CPSC \(United States\)\); video review \(derived summary of its captions\)\), each read in full by RoboTrunk and trimmed to its main content, then written up and checked\. Facts from the maker or a manual quote the page word for word; what real users report is summarised with a link to the page read\. Recall status was checked directly with CPSC \(United States\): A CPSC recall search for Stokke returned one record, a 2007 recall of Sleepi crib foam mattresses for an entrapment hazard\. It concerns a crib mattress, not the YOYO Parasol, so no recall applies to this product\. - compatibility: The store's structured product data lists the parasol as compatible with YOYO³, YOYO² and YOYO\+ strollers; the maker's page lists only YOYO³ and YOYO², so the sources disagree on YOYO\+ support\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - compatibility: The maker's page states the parasol is applicable to the YOYO³ and YOYO² strollers only and its compatibility list does not mention YOYO\+, while the store's listing also claims YOYO\+; the sources disagree on YOYO\+ support\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - attachment and daily use: The adapter can be left attached to the stroller bar all the time, and the canopy then clicks on and off in one motion, which owners find quick for going in and out of shops\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - fit and look: The roundup describes the parasol as clipping straight to the YOYO frame with no universal clamp, giving an integrated, factory\-looking result rather than a bolt\-on shade\.. Source: (blog, Chairy Tales, published 2026-09-05), read 2026-10-22T15:44:14.499Z. - installation: Fitting the adapter is shown as a tool\-free job: it slides along the stroller's side rail, can go on either side, and clicks into place\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-22T15:44:42.564Z. - compatibility: The parasol is described as adapting to all versions of YOYO and as able to clip onto the car seat as well\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - compatibility: The maker lists which YOYO configurations the parasol fits: the 6\+ stroller, the bassinet, the 0\+ newborn pack, YOYO connect, the YOYO³/YOYO² frame and the YOYO car seat by BeSafe\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - adjustability: Shade can be placed precisely because the angle adjusts both where the canopy meets the adapter and along a flexible, bendable shaft\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - folding: The roundup states the parasol does not interfere with folding the stroller\.. Source: (blog, Chairy Tales, published 2026-09-05), read 2026-10-22T15:44:14.499Z. - adjustability: The neck of the parasol is very bendable, so the canopy can be pulled over the child's legs where the stroller hood does not reach\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-22T15:44:42.564Z. - sun protection: The canopy is rated UPF 50\+ and is described as having enhanced opacity so it shades the child more effectively\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - dimensions: The maker gives the same size in metric: 69 x 69 x 69 cm\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - airflow: Because the sides stay open, heat builds up less under it than under an enclosed sunshade extension, which the owner counts as a real advantage in summer\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - shade performance: The roundup describes the UPF 50\+ fabric as blocking almost all light, creating a dark, nap\-friendly pocket under the canopy\.. Source: (blog, Chairy Tales, published 2026-09-05), read 2026-10-22T15:44:14.499Z. - opening and folding: The canopy is held shut by a velcro strap and simply unfolds; a release button frees it from the adapter, and the stroller can be folded with the adapter still in place\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-22T15:44:42.564Z. - dimensions: The parasol measures 27\.2 x 27\.2 x 27\.2 inches\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - weight: The maker gives the weight as 0\.33 kg \(0\.7 lbs\)\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - storage: When not in use the closed parasol is stowed in the under\-seat basket, where it sticks out a little but the owner does not find it a problem\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - limitations: The roundup notes the parasol only works on YOYO strollers, so it is useless if you change to another brand, and that its canopy area is smaller than clamp\-on universal umbrellas\.. Source: (blog, Chairy Tales, published 2026-09-05), read 2026-10-22T15:44:14.499Z. - weight: The parasol weighs 0\.7 lbs\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - age range: The maker states the parasol is suitable for children from 0 to 48 months\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - rain: The owner reports using it as a small umbrella in light rain, which proved handy in a sudden shower\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - what's included: The box contains one parasol and one adapter\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - colour options: The maker says the parasol comes in the full range of YOYO colours; its own listing shows an Olive version with SKU STK653208\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - downsides: A toddler grabbing and shaking the pole makes the canopy swing noticeably; the owner says this faded as the child got used to it and was no longer an issue at age two\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - age range: The store's structured data tags the product for infant and toddler use\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - colour accuracy: The maker warns that small colour differences between the photos and the real product can come from lighting, screen resolution or personal perception\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:40.473Z. - downsides: In crowded places the parasol gets in the way more than an enclosed sunshade would\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - materials claims: The store lists the parasol as fire\-retardant free and PFAS\-free among its certifications\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - buying decision: The owner hesitated because the parasol is rarely seen in use on the street and seemed expensive, but concluded it was worth buying and did not regret choosing it over a sunshade extension\.. Source: (blog, わた子びより, published 2026-08-03), read 2026-10-22T15:43:45.770Z. - materials claims: The store explains why it flags products as free of fire retardants, describing them as chemicals sprayed onto baby products\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-22T15:43:38.412Z. - colour options: The store sells the parasol in Black \(SKU ST\-653201, barcode 7040356532018\) and Taupe \(SKU ST\-653202, barcode 7040356532025\)\.. To find them we read the store listing, the maker's page, blogs, video reviews and the recall records of CPSC \(United States\) and searched for the manual, regulator recall notices, owner reviews and owner forums. We also chased the questions below across those sources and found no reliable answer, so you know exactly where the evidence ends and never have to guess. - What fabric is the parasol canopy made of? - What warranty does Stokke give on the parasol? - How should the canopy be cleaned or washed? - Does the parasol fit the original YOYO\+ stroller? - How does the canopy fabric hold up to heavy rain? - Can the adapter scratch or mark the stroller frame? - Does the colour or UV coating fade with long sun exposure? - What is the folded length of the parasol for storage?
