# Cybex Balios S Lux Stroller \| live price, prepared checkout ## Built for shopping agents: what RoboTrunk does for every product We asked shopping agents, including Meta's Muse first-hand, what they need from a store. This is what they asked for, and what we have built. RoboTrunk is working through its catalogue, so a step may not be done for this one yet. Where a step is done per product, the line ends with what is done for this product. - **Deep research:** We read the maker's manual, independent reviews, video review transcripts and the store's own page, and publish each finding with its source and the date read. `check_product` returns them with a source for each. *This product:* 67 checked facts, research depth trimmed read, checked 2026-10-18T12:29:01.160Z, in the [evidence pack](/agent/evidence/megababiesusa-com--cybex-balios-s-lux-stroller-2026). - **Receipts:** Every published fact has a receipt showing its source quote. `check_product` and `get_product` return the checked facts that have one. *This product:* each checked fact listed below has one; the source quotes are in the [evidence pack](/agent/evidence/megababiesusa-com--cybex-balios-s-lux-stroller-2026). - **Safety:** `check_product` asks the product-safety regulators live (US CPSC, NHTSA and FDA, Health Canada, the UK's OPSS, Australia's ACCC) whether a recall names a product, listed here or not, and flags a match with its notice; a recall never blocks the buyer. *This product:* this page holds no recall result for it yet; `check_product` asks the regulators now. - **Recall watch:** `watch_recalls` tells the buyer if a product bought here is recalled later. - **Second-hand listings:** `check_listing` runs the same recall check on a second-hand listing someone found, and adds what the listing leaves out and the price new. - **The real price:** The full price to the buyer's country, with shipping and tax, each part quoted from the store's policy or, where a part is not settled, what the total depends on: `check_product` and `search_catalog` take the buyer's country and postcode. *This product:* this store's price was read from its catalogue at 2026-10-24T19:31:58.346Z. - **A checkout that finishes:** RoboTrunk lists only stores whose agent checkout it has verified. `create_checkout` prepares the order at the store; `complete_checkout` returns a link to the store's own checkout. The checkout can be finished in either of two ways: the person taps the link in their own browser, or their agent opens it and completes the checkout. RoboTrunk checks the store's total against a budget ceiling before it issues the link. Payment always happens on the store's own page, and RoboTrunk never holds the money. No store pays for placement; RoboTrunk may earn a commission from some stores via their affiliate programs. - **Markdown copy:** Every page has a Markdown copy: [this page's copy](https://robotrunk.com/products/ucp/megababiesusa-com/9091723657470.md). - **Photos and ratings:** Search results carry the product photo and, where the store's own page publishes one, its rating (`search_catalog`). - **Fit answers:** `check_fit` answers whether a listing fits a car, pram or bottle, with the exact quote from the store's page, or says it is not known. - **Back-in-stock watches:** `watch_back_in_stock` starts a watch on a listing the store shows as sold out; `get_back_in_stock_watch` shows when it is back in stock. - **Maker's manual:** `ask_product_manual` answers from the maker's manual with the exact passage and page, or says the manual does not cover it. - **Tools and guide:** Every tool and its description is at https://robotrunk.com/mcp; the guide is at [/agents\.md](/agents.md). - **Research from other stores:** Coming soon: reading other stores' listings of the same product as new research sources. Each carries that source's link and the time RoboTrunk read it. 67 checked facts, checked 2026-10-18T12:29:01.160Z. Research depth: trimmed read. Deep read: the store's own data and 10 outside pages \(the store's own product page; maker page; manual; review; blog; regulator recall search \(CPSC \(United States\)\); regulator recall search \(Health Canada\); video review \(derived summary of its captions\)\), each read in full by RoboTrunk and trimmed to its main content, then written up and checked\. Facts from the maker or a manual quote the page word for word; what real users report is summarised with a link to the page read\. Recall status was checked directly with CPSC \(United States\), Health Canada: The CPSC search for Cybex returned 8 records, all for Cybex International fitness equipment such as treadmills, weight benches and a leg press, none for strollers\. Health Canada returned 4 records: Cybex Smith Press \(2018\), Cybex 2\.Go infant carriers \(2010\), archived Cybex Umbrella Strollers \(2010\) and archived Cybex treadmills \(2008\)\. None of these concerns the Balios S Lux\. Not read, because they are member\-only or refused RoboTrunk: Which? pushchair tests, CHOICE pram and stroller tests, Stiftung Warentest pram and buggy tests, JPMA certified products\. - age and weight limits: The listing says the seat is rated for children from about 6 months up to 55 lb; the video reviewer, by contrast, gives a 22 kg \(about 48\.5 lb\) child limit, so the sources disagree on the maximum child weight\.. Source: (listing), read 2026-10-17T19:35:52.669Z. - weight and folded size: The video reviewer measured about 11\.7 kg and a folded size of roughly 40 x 48\.5 x 65 cm with the seat attached, and notes it feels heavier than earlier versions when folded\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:19:20.318Z. - weight: The stroller weighs 24\.7 lb according to the store listing\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:41.040Z. - age range: From birth only with an infant car seat or cot; the seat unit itself is for 6 months to about 4 years\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:44.162Z. - manual contents: The user guide covers folding, the free\-standing position, the swivel locks, removing the wheels and using the rain cover\.. Source: (manual), read 2026-10-18T12:16:47.053Z. - manual contents: The manual also documents attaching an infant car seat, a carry cot and a soft carry cot, and removing the seat cover for cleaning\.. Source: (manual), read 2026-10-18T12:16:50.360Z. - measured weight: Testers weighed it at 11\.5 kg / 25\.3 lb, a little more than the maker's figure, and call it neither heavy nor light for a full\-size stroller; lifting it into a car is a two\-handed job\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - comfort and suspension: The tester describes a genuinely soft seat with an easily adjusted recline and suspension that keeps a child from being jolted on field paths, while still being easy to steer\.. Source: (blog, Blog wozki, published 2026-05-23), read 2026-10-18T12:17:26.064Z. - overall owner sentiment: Across the collected owner comments the stroller scores around 81% positive\.. Source: (listing), read 2026-10-17T19:35:52.669Z. - seat limits and dimensions: The reviewer gives a 22 kg child limit and a 10 kg basket limit, and measures the seat 28 cm wide and 99 cm long with the leg rest extended, or 108 cm using the front frame footrest; the maker and the store list a 55 lb child limit instead, so the sources disagree on that figure\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:19:20.318Z. - dimensions unfolded: Assembled it measures 34\.3 in long, 24\.7 in wide and 42\.5 in high in the store's listing\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:41.040Z. - maximum child weight: The maker's page gives a maximum child weight of 55 lb; the video reviewer, by contrast, gives 22 kg \(about 48\.5 lb\), so the sources disagree on the maximum child weight\.. Source: (manual), read 2026-10-18T12:16:50.360Z. - fold: It folds one\-handed and stands when folded and can be rolled like luggage with the front wheels locked, but the fold needs preparation: wheels locked, seat reclined, leg rest at its lowest, and the seat does not lock in place once folded\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - pushing and wheels: Large wheels help over pavements and kerbs, the front wheels swivel almost on their own for tight corners, and one\-handed pushing is manageable\.. Source: (listing), read 2026-10-17T19:35:52.669Z. - canopy and growing room: Because the canopy sits flush against the top of the seat back, its usable life is limited to roughly two and a half to three years, although the long adjustable leg rest keeps a reclined position comfortable to that age\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:19:20.318Z. - dimensions folded: Folded it measures 30\.5 in long, 23\.6 in wide and 17\.7 in high\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:44.162Z. - basket: The basket is large with good access, holds a large diaper bag easily, and its 22 lb limit beats most rivals; there is also a small seatback pocket holding about 2 lb\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - brake: The brake works but sometimes needs a firm push before it engages\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:19:20.318Z. - wheels and handle height: Front wheels are 7\.1 in and rear wheels 11 in, with the handlebar adjustable between 40\.6 in and 44\.5 in\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - fabric and looks: The fabric is soft yet hard\-wearing and easy to clean, and the colours are muted but not dull\.. Source: (listing), read 2026-10-17T19:35:52.669Z. - what feels weak: The leg rest and canopy mechanisms feel weaker than they should and the seat frame connects to the chassis more loosely than the reviewer would like, although the seat frame itself is sturdy\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:19:20.318Z. - suspension: It combines front wheel suspension with frame\-based rear suspension\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:41.040Z. - dimensions folded: The maker lists the folded package as 17\.3 in long, 23\.8 in wide and 30\.3 in high\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - everyday practicality: The shopping basket is roomy, folding is quick but not instant, and the sun canopy is a sensible size that shades without blocking the view; the adjustable footrest and cup holder were appreciated\.. Source: (guide), read 2026-10-18T12:16:44.162Z. - car seat compatibility: The reviewer states this Cybex model is compatible only with Cybex infant car seats, which conflicts with the maker's own list of fitting Maxi Cosi and Nuna seats\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - long\-term ownership: A returning owner reports being very satisfied on rough gravel and poor roads, with wheels that proved excellent and easy folding, the bassinet taking up the most room\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:17:29.518Z. - folding: Folding is easy one\-handed and stands as one piece with the seat either forward or reversed, but the handle is looser out of the box than most, so unlocking both sides evenly takes practice\.. Source: (review), read 2026-10-18T12:16:53.315Z. - durability concerns: The brake can stiffen if not lubricated, and if a brake pin ever snaps the assembly is hard to take apart for repair; the front fork and wheel joints are now tighter without ball bearings, which should head off wobble over time\.. The full evidence pack, with every citation, source and gap: [evidence pack](/agent/evidence/megababiesusa-com--cybex-balios-s-lux-stroller-2026) ## Questions we researched but could not confirm Every fact above is cited. To find them we read the store listing, the maker's page, the manual, owner reviews, blogs, video reviews and the recall records of CPSC \(United States\) and Health Canada and searched for regulator recall notices and owner forums. We also chased the questions below across those sources and found no reliable answer, so you know exactly where the evidence ends and never have to guess. - Does the paint or coating on the frame rub off with use? - Which safety standard or certification does this stroller meet? - What are the seat back height and seat width in inches? - How much does the frame weigh without the seat unit? - Can it fit in an airplane overhead bin or be gate\-checked? - Is a mosquito net supplied or available for this model? - Do the seat fabrics shrink or fade after washing?
