Open-box convertible car seats: terms and checked facts
Is buying an open-box convertible car seat a good deal?
UPPAbaby Rove: An open-box unit is described as brand new but returned or opened, inspected for completeness and safety, and it may show small cosmetic imperfections that do not affect use. All covers and inserts are machine-washable (cold, delicate, front-loader preferred), a cup holder comes with the seat, and the lifetime warranty requires registering the product and a receipt from an authorised retailer, lasting the seat's 10-year life for the original owner. In this lab's commissioned crash tests the Rove scored one of the best results, with head and chest sensor forces below the group average, indicating an extra margin of protection. Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 Narrow All-in-One Convertible Car Seat: Open-box purchases include a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. Open-box products are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Testers report the SlimFit had some of the best crash-test sensor results in their comparison, with low HIC and chest-clip forces. Maxi-Cosi-dc Pria Max All-in-One: Open-box items include everything from a brand-new product, with each piece checked. Open-box purchases include a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. Maxi-Cosi Andi 360 Rotating All-in-One Convertible Car Seat (CC425 / CC425HHO): Open-box items are stated to include everything a brand-new product would include, checked piece by piece. Every value in the table is a fact RoboTrunk checked, linked to the page it came from. A dash means no checked fact fills that cell. Prices and stock change, so this page prints neither: each product name links to its RoboTrunk page, which shows them live.

This page is published by RoboTrunk, a store built for shopping agents. The store named on this page sells the product and ships it. RoboTrunk is not the seller and never holds the money. Buying works in one path. RoboTrunk's tools prepare a checkout at that store, then hand back a short-lived link. The person approves the total; once RoboTrunk has checked the store's total against it, the person is given the checkout link to tap in their own browser, or, if the person prefers and gives permission, their agent may open the link and finish there, and payment always happens on the store's own checkout page. RoboTrunk never takes the payment or sees a card. Where the rest of this site is: - /agent/story.md is what RoboTrunk is and how it works, in full. - /agent/tools.json is every tool, its arguments and its answers. - /agent/merchants is every store you can buy from through RoboTrunk. - /products/ucp is every store's indexed products. - /products/search is one search across every store, in plain words.
