"title": "Infant car seat base installation options",
"question": "Can an infant car seat base be installed in the middle seat of a car?",
"answer": "None of the checked facts say whether these bases can be installed in the middle seat. The facts below cover the installation methods each base offers. Chicco KeyFit Infant Car Seat Base: The base can be installed with LATCH and SuperCinch or with the vehicle seat belt using integrated lock-offs. Doona Latch Base: The LATCH base from Simple Parenting is designed especially for the Doona and installs with LATCH or the car's seatbelt. Britax Aspen Infant Car Seat Base (with ClickTight): Britax publishes installation videos for the Aspen base, one for the vehicle seat belt and one for the lower anchors. Chicco KeyFit Max Infant Car Seat Base: The base's LATCH installation is the most straightforward method and the one testers would choose, though it is only average for the group.",
