"title": "Convertible Car Seats and Top Tether Use",
"question": "Which convertible car seats need a top tether, and when should the top tether be used?",
"answer": "The checked facts do not say which convertible seats require a top tether. On timing, Orbit Baby G5: The top tether should not be used when installing the car seat rear-facing. Evenflo Revolve360 names its tether system as part of installation: It is installed once for rear-facing and forward-facing using the Sure360 safety installation system with LockStrong belt tensioning and Tether360. Cybex Callisto G 360 Select lists its tether as part of its anti-rebound base: The Callisto G 360 Select features a SafetyAssure Protection System claimed to be 37% safer in a crash, with a reinforced steel frame, Anti-Rebound Base with SecureFix360 Tether, and Linear Side-Impact Protection.",
