# Comfort of silicone breast pumps and milk collectors Can a silicone breast pump cause pain or discomfort during use, and which Haakaa silicone products have reviewers described as comfortable or uncomfortable? Haakaa Silicone Pump & Milk Collector Set Combo: Testers gave the collector between 4 and 5 out of 5 and it took a bronze award; they praised the soft, comfortable silicone and a secure fit from the light suction\. Reviewers say the soft silicone covers the whole areola and that it is smaller and more comfortable than other milk catchers for wearing through the day\. Haakaa Ladybug Silicone Breast Milk Collector: A user says the soft silicone comfortably covers the whole areola, is smaller than other collectors and is discreet and effective at catching every drop\. A user who could no longer fit a manual Haakaa on one side because of a feeding pillow found the Ladybug works well, catching close to the same amount \(about 50\-70 ml\), more comfortable to wear, and with no trouble cleaning or keeping it in place\. Haakaa Silicone Pump & Milk Collector Combo \(MHK179\): Testers found the Ladybug soft and comfortable against the breast, with flexible silicone and slight suction helping it fit well\. Some users say the Ladybug catches nearly as much as a regular Haakaa during feeding, about 50\-70ml, and is more comfortable to wear\. Haakaa Generation 3 Premium Pack: The reviewer ranks the Gen 3 as having the strongest suction of the Haakaa pumps and says its top does not warp or pinch the nipple the way the standard pump can\. A user found the suction uncomfortable when breasts were very full, which was also the only time it worked well for them\. Haakaa Generation 1 100ml Silicone Breast Pump \(SKU MHK062\): Testers scored the Gen 1 last of nine pumps overall: it earned top marks for portability and strong marks for hygiene and ease of use, but low marks for efficiency and comfort\. A mum who reviewed it found the one\-piece pump solid and quite thick rather than flimsy, so it can be left on while she got on with other things\. ### 1.
