"title": "Bassinet Time Limits Before Moving to a Cot",
"question": "How long can a baby keep sleeping in a bassinet before moving to a main cot?",
"answer": "Bugaboo Stardust (sold by anbbaby.com): The bassinet is for use from birth only until the child reaches 20 lb or begins pushing up on hands and knees, whichever happens first; it must also be removed once the child can sit up. The bassinet must not be used after the child can sit up. It is intended from birth to age two, but use must stop earlier if the child reaches 33 lb or 35 inches or can climb out.\nUPPAbaby Remi Playard: One store listing gives a weight capacity of 20 pounds for the bassinet and 30 pounds for the playard. The video demo said bassinet mode is from birth to 20 pounds and play yard mode from birth to 35 inches tall.\nUPPAbaby Remi V2: The original Remi is the more compact option at around 20 lb versus the V2's 24.6 lb, takes less floor space and folds smaller, but both share the same 20 lb bassinet limit and 35-inch playard height limit, so the V2 does not extend the usable stage.",
